Two out for Sabres

According to Mike Harrington on the Sabres Edge blog in The Buffalo News, center Jochen Hecht will be out “weeks, not days” after undergoing another procedure on one of his fingers. Also, Sabres forward Drew Stafford (concussion) will be out of tonight’s line-up as well for the home team.

Hecht had 21-21–42 totals in 79 games played this season; and Stafford had scoring totals of 14-20–34 in 71 games played.

Good news for Buffalo fans: center Tim Connolly (17-48–65) in IN tonight’s lineup for the Sabres.

Against Boston this season:

Stafford: 0-2-2, plus-1, 14 SOG
Hecht: 0-0-0, minus-2, 19 SOG
Connolly: 0-3-3, E, 10 SOG

Update: Defenseman Andrew is IN tonight’s lineup for the Bruins.
