    • The defense had a hard time getting the puck out of their zone in the first frame. The relentless Flyers’ forechecking were a little too much for the B’s, but…
    • Tim Thomas continues to play like Tim Thomas — stopping all  10 shots he faced. He wasn’t tested too much, but continues to stop everything that comes his way.
    • The Bruins power play failed to register a shot on goal, and looked a bit lost out there tonight, unable to get anything going. The Bruins now have six power play goals in their last 18  opportunities (33.3%)
    • Flyers netminder Brian Boucher robbed David Krejci midway though the first — sticking his pad out just in time as Krejci too a pass from Milan Lucic (in the corner) on Boucher’s doorstep.
