The Nashua Panthers’ youth hockey program will be hosting their first annual golf tournament this year on Thursday, September 15, 2011 at Amherst Country Club in Amherst, N.H

The four-man scramble format will be a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m., with all proceeds raised during this event going to benefit the NPYHA and their hockey teams.

Along with the 18 holes of golf and cart, host Joe Freelove and the rest of the fund raising organizers will have raffles, 50/50 drawing, closest to the pin, long drive contest , and much more.  The cost is $125 per player or $440 per foursome ($60 savings).

As a former youth player myself (with longtime friend Joe) I — meaning my parents — know how hard it can be with the costs of ice time and the new and used equipment that comes with this great sport, which is why TheHubofHockey.net will also be an official sponsor of the event. So even if you aren’t a golfer or can’t make the event, please sign up as a sponsor or help make a donation to the Panthers’ Youth Hockey by visiting their website or contacting Joe directly, here.
