    Three goals in the first 4:58 of the second period is all we got as the Bruins take a 2-1 lead into the final frame. Lets a take a look at the second period breakdown.

    The Bruins got on the board first in the second period after Rich Peverley taps in a loose puck that found his stick from a shot by Brad Marchand that hit the post.

    The Bruins give the lead up very fast as a Nathan Horton turnover results in a breakaway goal by Martin St. Louis, his 300th career goal.

    Adam Mcquaid steals the lead right back for the Bruins as his shot from the point has eyes and finds the back of the net.

    The Bruins defensemen have been very agressive tonight. Joe Corvo has been up on the rush a few times, and was robbed by Lightning goalie Mathieu Garon on a 2-1.

    Tyler Seguin and Brad Marchand have second period assits giving both two points in as many games.

    The Bruins have 30 shots on goal, but just two from their top line of Milan Lucic, David Krejci, and Nathan Horton.
