(Photo: S. Babineau) Tim Thomas is expected to get the start for the Bruins tonight as they look to start a new win streak.

For the first time since November 21, 1995 the Winnipeg Jets will travel to Boston and take on the Boston Bruins. The Bruins are coming off their first loss since October 29th after falling to the Detroit Red Wings in the shootout yesterday afternoon.

The Jets come into tonight playing some of their best hockey this season, winners of four of their last five; the Jets are over the .500 mark for the first time since December 16, 1995.

    Game Details:

    Puck Drop: 7:00 p.m.
TV: NESN Radio: 98.5 The Sports Hub
    2011-12 Season Series: None
Expected Goalies: Tim Thomas vs. Ondrej Pavelec

    What to watch for Bruins:

This season has been a struggle for center David Krejci. The Bruins top center has just nine points in 18 games, including just one point in his last seven games. Luckily for Krejci, line-mates Milan Lucic and Nathan Horton have been carrying the line and the Bruins have been winning, otherwise Krejci could have been facing some pressure. Tonight could be a night where Krejci breaks out and starts to get hot for the Bruins.

Tim Thomas was the first goalie off the ice this morning and is expected to start for the Bruins in net tonight. Thomas has had a great month here in November and looks to continue that. Thomas has gone 7-0-0 in the month with three shutouts. For the Bruins sake, hopefully Thomas can keep his run going tonight.

    What to watch for Jets:

Old friends Mark Stuart and Blake Wheeler return to the TD Garden tonight now members of the Jets. Both former Bruins are having solid seasons so far. Wheeler is tied for seventh on the team with 11 points (1 goal). Stuart has just six points, but we all know from his time in Boston how good Stuart is on the blue-line.

Special teams could be the difference in this one tonight. The Jets come into tonight with the 10th best ranked power play. The Bruins penalty kill has struggled of late allowing power play goals in six of their last 10 games. Look for the Bruins to work their special teams magic tonight if they hope to start a new win streak tonight.
