The seven days of Chris Kelly: Day 4

Now that Chris Kelly has officially (will not be “official” till July 1) signed a deal keeping him in Boston for the next four seasons it’s time to honor the fourth greatest Bruin in Bruins history (Orr, Bourque, Neely) with the seven days of Chris Kelly.

Over the course of the next seven days Bruins Daily will be recapping some of the best moments in Chris Kelly’s Bruins career to date.

Today on day 4 we look at Chris Kelly answering the first question Anthony has ever asked him.

November 15, 2011 the best day in Chris Kelly’s and certainly Anthony’s life.

The Bruins hosted the New Jersey Devils at the Garden for a Tuesday night tilt. With the Bruins down 1-0, Chris Kelly tied things at one on this funky goal.

The goal ended up being a big one as the Bruins edged out the eventual Eastern Conference Champions by a score of 4-3.

After the game when Kelly was addressing the media, Anthony finally worked up the nerve to ask Kelly about his ways of scoring goals when crashing the net.

Fast forward to the 1.38 mark to hear Anthony struggle to get the word success out, and speak to Kelly about his goal.
