It was the season of two David Krejci’s and on this night, Krejci was the hero tallying a hat-trick including the game-winning goal in overtime to lift the Bruins to a 4-3 win. Head coach Claude Julien was doing everything in his power to get Krejci going and on this night the message was heard-loud and clear.

Krejci had three goals in his previous 23 games as he tied the game versus New Jersey with five minutes left later winning it in OT pushing one by Martin Brodeur. The Bruins were off to a fast start leading 2-0 after two periods, but the Devils answered back with three in the second period.

The Bruins responded well to a terrible second period where it left them being booed by their home fans, but David Krejci brought them back on his shoulders for a 4-3 overtime win.
