    Monarchs vs. Bruins after 40

The two teams enterted the period knotted at one, and left it knotted at two.

The evening has been taken over by Kyle MacKinnon and Bryan Rodeny as the two have accounted for all four goals on the evening. Both goals have been the first two of the year for each.

MacKinnon’s goal came off a beautiful play by Chris Bourque who recovered well after turning the puck over.

The second period was a high penalty affair as the Bruins and Monarchs combined for four penalties. No power play goals have been scored. Niklas Svedberg has been great for the Bruins once again in between the pipes as he has stopped 19 of 21 shots.

Bobby Robins received a ten-minute misconduct after his jersey was not correctly tied down. Robins was clearly not happy with the call.
