(Getty Images) The Bruins’ merlot line has played a big role in the team’s 2-0 start.

Normally, a 2-0 start to the season, while still satisfying, would be looked at as a short stretch to a long season. But with the shortened 48-game season, a 2-0 start is a little more pleasing for fans of the Boston Bruins.

Below are some of your best tweets and Facebook posts regarding the team’s first two victories over the New York Rangers and Winnipeg Jets, with a couple of shameless plugs from your’s truly and Anthony Travalgia. We’ll do another one of these Thursday morning with some sort of reaction from the second meeting against the Rangers.

Again, if you missed out on these, well there’s still 46 games left to get your voice heard.
