Thomas leads em out

(Photo: Bridget Samuels/) Tim Thomas gets the start for the Bruins tonight between the pipe as he and his Bruins look to end their three game losing streak.

For the eighth time this season Tim Thomas gets the start for the Bruins between the pipes. Thomas is 3-4 on the year with a 2.14 goals against average. Thomas’ lifetime numbers against the Bruins Northeast Division rivals are very good. In 29 games played against the Senators, Thomas is 19-8-2 and carries a 1.91 goals against average against the Sens.

Tonight’s match-up is a battle of streaks. The Senators carry a six-game-win-streak into tonight’s game, as the Bruins in the midst of a three-game-losing streak.

No sign on Beniot Pouliot as he looks to be the healthy scratch tonight. Pouliot missed Saturday’s loss in Montreal due to illness. Here are tonight’s lines per pre game warm-ups:

Milan Lucic-David Krejci-Nathan Horton
Brad Marchand-Patrice Bergeron-Tyler Seguin
Jordan Caron-Chris Kelly-Rich Peverley
Shawn Thornton-Gregory Campbell-Daniel Pallie

Zdeno Chara-Joe Corvo
Dennis Seidenberg-Johnny Boychuck
Andrew Ference-Adam McQuaid

Tim Thomas
Tuukka Rask
