Bruins vs. Senators rescheduled for April 28

Today the Bruins announced that yesterday’s game against the Ottawa Senators that was postponed due to the tragic attacks at the finish line of the Boston Marathon will be played on Sunday April 28, 2013 at 7:00 p.m., it will be the Bruins final game of the regular season.

The game will be the Bruins second makeup game of the week as the Bruins will host the Tampa Bay Lightning on Thursday April 25 which was postponed on February 9 due to super storm Nemo. The Bruins will now end the season with seven games in 12 days.

The Bruins also announced that tomorrow’s game at the TD Garden against the Buffalo Sabres will take place at 7:30 as scheduled.

The Bruins made both announcements this afternoon via a press release. Here is the release for those who missed it.

NEW YORK/TORONTO (April 16, 2013) – The postponed game between the Ottawa Senators and Boston Bruins, originally scheduled for Monday night, has been rescheduled for Sunday, April 28, at TD Garden. Face-off will be at 7 p.m.

Broadcast information for the game, NHL Game No. 624, will be announced when available.

The Bruins/Sabres game on Wednesday, April 17 will be played as scheduled at 7:30 p.m. at TD Garden.
