    Wheeler ready to get things rolling in ’10-11

    Back from offseason and getting right into it, Bruins’ forward Blake Wheeler made it to Ristuccia Arena this morning sporting a white practice jersey for an optional on-ice workout with fellow teammates Gregory Campbell and Nathan Horton (also wearing white), Andrew Ference, Dennis Seidenberg, and David Krejci (in black), and goaltender Nolan Schaefer.

    The practice lasted roughly 30 minutes this morning, but after a busy offseason, Wheeler’s glad to be back.

    “Just more to get the feel for things — your skates, sticks, new equipment — that kind of thing.” said Wheeler when asked the benefits of these pre-training camp practices. “Just to get a little comfort before the camp starts. Once everything kicks-off then it gets amped up about 500 notches.”
