    Althea Pashman: What will the loss of Patrice Bergeron mean for the Bruins, especially if he is unable to return?

    Mark Marino: In a nutshell it means they lost their best two-way forward, a key component to their PK and PP, their best player (not named Tim Thomas), and their most consistent skater.

    If he were to miss the entire series then it would be even more of an uphill battle for the B’s. However the depth of this team has really come through in the post-season. In Round 1, the first-line of Lucic–Krejci–Horton were basically non-existent while the third-line of Peverley–Kelly–Ryder really gelled — they came through in the clutch with 14 combined points.
