    Bruins vs. Devils after 20

The Providence Bruins were looking to build some momentum after a big home win last weekend versus the St. Johns Ice Caps, but that notion has got off to a rocky start as the Albany Devils lead 1-0 after the first 20 minutes of play. Each team looking a bit sloppy, possibly resulting in their poor starts to the season  and after a Ryan Spooner turnover in his own end that lead to an Adam Henrique goal, the Baby B’s will need to fight from behind again at home.

Bobby Robins tried to fire up the team and crowd after exchanging blows with Alexander Urbom during a fight, but the Devils clearly got the message and answered with a goal minutes later to break the zer0-zero tie. Each team is 0-2 on the power-play through the first 20 minutes. This has been a tough subject for the Baby B’s as their power-play has been off and on depending on the night.

Niklas Svedberg was not really tested in the first half, but it took a redirection goal by Henrique to get it past him. Svedberg has five saves through the first 20 minutes. Keith Kinkaid has stopped all 12 shots faced by the Baby B’s.

The Baby B’s will have the man advantage for :25 seconds coming out of the intermission. Stayed tuned on here throughout the night for updates between periods and post game.
