An announcement early this morning from Boston Bruins General Manager reports that the club has recalled forward Drew Larman from the AHL Providence Bruins on an emergency basis – and will be available for Monday’s game against the Senators.

The 24-year-old from Canton, MI, has played in 43 games for the Providence Bruins this season, tallying 5-4-9 totals. Larman was originally signed as a free-agent by the Florida Panthers in 2005, and went on to play in 22 NHL games for the Panthers – recording 2-1-3 totals and four penalty minutes.

This is the center’s first call-up to the Bruins, which indicates Steve Begin [day-to-day] may not be ready to go today.

Bruins host the Senators today at 1pm EST at the TD Garden.
