For the second straight period the Falcons score the lone goal of the period and will take a 2-0 lead into the final frame. The period was dictated by the Bruins who out-shot the Falcons 14-5.

The Bruins had one power play chance in the second, and as has been the theme of the night failed to score. The Bruins are in total 0-5 on the night with the man advatage.

Cody Bass has done a great job for the Falcons getting under the Bruins skin, as Bass has had no issue dropping the gloves twice. Falcons goalie Curtis McElhinney has been lights out in between the pipes stopping all 24 Bruins shots.

Trent Whitfield left the ice and headed right for the locker room after blocking a shot from the point. It looked like he may have gotten an accidental hit to the head from a Falcons player.

It’s going to take a third period comeback from the Bruins if they plan on picking up their first home win of the season.
